Every September we have a stable picnic to thank all of those who have supported us though out the year. We spend most of the day cooking outdoors cowboy style, with Dutch ovens filled to the brim with old fashioned down home grub. Attendees enjoy horseshoes, dominoes, bag swings and outdoor fun. After dinner we all gather around the campfire where our students recite cowboy poems and sing cowboy songs. We are then entertained by guitar playing and singing of some of our favorite cowboy songs. What started as a small picnic has turned into a much anticipated annual event.
